Staircase and hallway

This tired old hallway and staircase were in major need of a revamp. A new front door and frame was first on the agenda before all walls were stripped and plastered before been painted in a much lighter top finish. The staircase spindles,handrail and bottom rails were taken out and the stairs sanded and prepared for repainting. New posts, rails and spindles were then fitted and the whole stairs finished with a final finish coat. New solid oak hardwood flooring was laid and new skirting boards to finish the look.
