Shower installation.
We have had a busy year and are now looking forward to our Christmas break. This is our last project of 2013, a downstairs shower installation with toilet and wash basin. The look the client required was a vintage feel.

The project
Like the majority of our projects we started with a bare shell of a room, the old lathe and plaster ceiling was taken down due to its poor state. A new block wall was built along with a dividing partition wall which will form a new office area. The pipe work and electrical work was installed and then the room completely boarded and skimmed. The floor area was screed levelled and then tiled with porcelain Victorian style mosaics. A shower area was also tiled with gloss black metro style tiles and a shower tray fitted. After grouting, the thermostatic shower and cubicle were installed along with the new toilet and wash basin with chrome stand.
Because of the low ceiling height, new chrome down lights were installed to give the room a modern twist.
The old cast iron fireplace was then re -fitted to complete the look of this vintage shower installation.
