Property renovation.removing concrete
During the summer months we completed a project of property renovation. This involved removing concrete render and cement paint off a very old country cottage. I suppose what seemed a good idea at the time, rendering and painting the outside of a period property has caused more problems with damp then it remedied.

The project
This project was physically demanding , very dusty and very uncomfortable in protective equipment. After the cement and paint was taken off , the brickwork was all re-pointed and cleaned off. This was just the first phase of the project. Our next job was to replace the old upvc windows.
