Garden patio design and build

This project was to create a memorial patio area for our client.

The area was pegged out then excavated, then we prepared the ground to take the new paving slabs.

We used a garden fabric to prevent the growth of weeds and then a few tonne of Jewson hardcore crush wheel barrowed in which was then compacted using a wacker plate.

Next in was two tonne of soft sand which was also compacted.

The concrete paver’s were then laid on a mixture of sand and cement and a retaining timber border installed.
