The project
This fireplace was opened up, new lintle installed and the solid oak beam fixed to the brickwork.
The walls will then be reboarded and plastered. The inside of the chimney will have fire retardent board installed ready for the new log burner.
The living room has had a new stud wall built to seperate the living room from the main entrance and the room will be plastered throughout.
