Flooring instalation in York We had a busy two days work laying over 80 sqm of sub floor plywood and then installing the new Karndean vinyl floor tiles at the Ambiente Tapas restaurant in York.
This is another one of our past project we have completed. A country cottage style kitchen installation in a village near Hull. The original kitchen was well and truly past its best with water damage to units and worktops. Our clients loved the country style feel of the original so it was decided to install a more up to date country cottage style kitchen in its place with integrated appliances. The worktops were solid oak which after installation, oiled them to give then a lovely glossy finish and make them water and stain resistant. The 1000 mm extractor was matched to the easy clean black glass splash back and creates a contrasting impact. The flooring we used was a moisture resistant slate effect laminate which makes the matt cream kitchen stand out and the focal point is the lovely Belfast sink. The kitchen walls and ceiling were painted and […]
This was a small project laying 6 sqm of engineered wood flooring in the hallway for our clients in Kirk Ella near Hull The flooring is hard wearing and looks amazing.
Our client wanted a more traditional looking kitchen so we opted to use solid oak doors but gave it a modern twist, gloss black sparkle worktops with a black glass splash back and gloss black metro tiles. To compliment the look the walls were painted in a light cream colour and the floor covered with True mineral vintage black slate effect vinyl floor tiles which is both hard wearing and easy to keep clean. A black glass topped gas hob and matching extractor completed the look of this kitchen. The kitchen was supplied by Wren kitchens and the flooring by Chris Lee carpets of Cottingham.
Commercial laminate flooring installed at the Bilton Grange Community centre Hull. After been let down by a local firm who had underestimated the costing on a grant application for the supply and installation of new laminate flooring and then refusing to fit it when the mistake was realised. Arbcreative were contacted after two other firms also refused to complete the work due to not enough money in the job. We went to assess what was required and after seeing the great work they do at the Bilton Grange community centre we felt we could not just walk away. The laminate was supplied to us by Chris Lee carpets who was our initial contact for the work. The work involved installing laminate to two rooms measuring 150 sqm in total. also the removal, altering to accommodate the new floor and rehanging of six pairs of fire doors.
This project is to build a brick and Upvc porch on this cottage. The foundations were laid during the previous block paving work . We are using reclaimed bricks to tie in with the look of the previous building work. Hopefully we will get some decent weather to crack on and get it finished. The porch was finished with re-claimed roof tiles to blend in with the look of the original property. Aesthetically we wanted it to look like it belonged to the original build and I think that aim was achieved. Arbcreative for all your building projects.
Transformation of unloved rooms to create that something special. I think the photos speak for themselves. Two dated small rooms and a dark corridor transformed into a beautiful dining room with a feature fireplace with log burner. Solid hardwood oak flooring with brick feature fireplace complete with log burner.
This room was built to be a new play room. A feature reclaimed brick wall was built which blends beautifully with the solid oak flooring and white walls.
This project was to convert the old garage into a new gymnasium.
