When it comes to bunny homes , we only build enclosures that are larger than the minimun stated by law.
The reason for this is that I personally believe that rabbits require more space then the present law allows and I have rescue bunnies myself and I have seen first hand how much happier they are in a much larger enviroment. #ahutchisnotenough.
50 mm x 50 mm exterior grade treated timber and 16g or 15g welded galvanised mesh create a secure enclosue with 24/7 access for the bunnies when installed on a paved or concrete base.
Frames are painted and pre finished prior to installation in Cuprinol garden shades colours.
Enclosures built on grassed areas require a mesh to be laid first before turfing.
I personally like enclosures to be on a concreted base which is far more secure.
Our bunny enclosures are built to allow full standing access which aids easier cleaning too.
We have built numerous “Catios” for our clients and each one is besoke to their individual needs. Climbing areas and rope wooden bridges along with other areas are created to keep inquisitive pets happy and entertained.
